Phil Wilkinson is a great piano and hammond organ player.He started playing at the age of 4. At the University of Nottingham he had the honor to study piano under Darius Brubeck and even performed many concerts of two pianos with him and the rest of the Brubeck family.In 2000 Phil moved to London and established his Trio. They've participated at many prestigious festivals such as Royal Festival Hall.

Phil also started playing in his brother's project Fast 3. After their recording in Spain for Butterfly records, he moved to Barcelona to join his brother Dave and continue their work as a trio with drummer Caspar St Charles. The next recording was with the legendary organist Big John Patton at Prestige records. In between work with the trio Phil was often first call for musicians from New York and Spain such as Joe Magnarelli, Will Bernard, Ximo Tebar and Bruce Arkin.
Phil started teaching at the Addis Abeba Conservatory in Ethiopia. This whole "African" stay had influenced him and inspired him for the Jazz fusion project - Ethipigues.

Since 2010 Phil has been working on his own projects, trios and touring Europe with the Will Bernard Trio and Ana Cisneros, one of the most prominent jazz vocalists in Spain.
