He graduated from the music conservatory in Ostrava. From 1992, he started working in Prague in the group The Four, with whom he also won the competition of the International Jazz Festival in Karlovy Vary. Since then, he has been active in various groups, with whom he also made a number of recordings. On the domestic stage he performed with Jaromír Honzák trio of, Roman Pokorný, with Robert Balzar trio, David Dorůžka, Ondřej Ruml, Yvonne Sanchez, Miriam Bayle, Ondřej Štveráček, Matěj Benko, Beata Hlavenková, Libor Šmoldas and many others. He also worked internationally with trumpeter Art Farmer, saxophonist Piotr Baron, pianist Kuba Stankiewicz, singer Sandy Lomax, guitarist Christian Rover, Craig Handy, Budapest jazz orchestra, John Abercrombie, Femi Temowo, Inbar Friedman or Michael Mayo. For 16 years he played in the group Robert Balzar Trio and Dan Bárta's Illustratosphere. He worked as a percussion teacher in the department of jazz interpretation at the Prague´s Academy of Music and Performing Arts.
