Tomáš Jochmann is one of the most striking and most sought-after pianists and sidemen of the Czech jazz scene and works regularly with a number of jazz players and ensembles.
From his studies at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory and VOŠ he has also studied with jazz legends such as Barry Harris (USA), Kenny Barron (USA) and Aaron Parks (USA). At the European stages he has performed with a number of jazz world celebrities including Kurt Rosewinkel (USA), Rosario Giuliani (ITA), Deborah Davis (USA), Sarah Tolar (USA), Justin Echols (USA), Lady Rizo Ritchie (GB) and Romina Capitani (ITA).
As an experienced lecturer, he also devotes himself to the private teaching of jazz piano, harmony and improvisation. His great passion is also the Afro-Cuban music that he often plays with musicians from South America.
