Ľubomír Gašpar grew up on folklore, studied classical music and jazz. He is the winner of the Radio Head Awards for the album "The Point of view".
He perceives the cimbalom from a different point of view, uses the sounds it offers and connects it with musical elements that are not typical for this instrument.
He likes to draw from the folklore of different nations, which he connects with jazz and other genres. He plays the dulcimer in several very successful groups (Ľubomír Gašpar Cimbal Project, MANUSE, Roby Lakatos Ensemble). Lubomír is also a skilled double bassist (group SOLE).
Ľubomír Gašpar has created his own musical signature through his musical journey and belongs to the unique "voices" of contemporary musical culture.
